About Us
The Ice Rockets officially adopted their name on Monday, June 1, 2009 after the founding members decided to create a hockey team dedicated to the continued development of hockey skills through focused practices.
Our home ice is located at The Rinks at Lehigh Valley in Whitehall, PA. The Rinks is conveniently located just a few miles north of the Lehigh Valley Mall in Allentown. Many of our players live in the surrounding areas including Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton.
We currently have a team that plays in the White Division of the United Women's Hockey League (UWHL).
For the 2010-2011 season we are hoping to have enough players for our competitive UWHL team as well as a recreational team.
We support the sport of Women's Ice Hockey and we hope to see many of you on the ice!
PLAYERS WANTED The team is looking for players for the 2010-2011 season. Women ages 14-99 looking to join an ice hockey team please join us for a 'Meet & Skate' April 18th @ 2-3:30PM at the back rink of The Rink at Lehigh Valley. Any experience level welcome! Please contact us at here.
